In the United States Education one of the key platforms that any aspiring politician or current politician speaks on. In regards to this campaign we need you to use your civic duties and go out and vote. Voting is a civic duty in many sorts you as a citizen are offered the opportunity to use your voice and in the decision of who is in many governmental positions to represent you. Currently the Secretary of the Department of Education is Betsy Devos. She is the individual you usually hear from on all things involving educational policy or policy reform.

As the Founder and CEO of this campaign Active Kids in PoLITics all I ask is for you to help us and other civics education/engagement by getting out and voting for individuals who advocate for civics education. Also please support other campaigns/platforms such: Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Action Network. You can also get involved in various groups these groups do not always have to interest groups. There are many leading groups in civics education as well as political advancement such as : American Political Science Association (APSA) this is an interest group that also is leading in Civics education advancement. In addition you can also be apart of Campaign for the Civic Mission of Schools and the Center of Civics education.

Getting your name out to politicians becoming apart of a group that is influencing our generation of future politicians and governmental officials. You can have a lasting influence by just taking a child to the polls with you or inviting them to come to meeting with you on civics education or any meeting where politics is talked about. IT all starts with YOU and our younger generation will follow! Remember a child should be ACTIVE in PoLITics because politics is LIT and fun!
